The steam key size is to do with servers. Try other servers with people in them, you should be able to get in. As far as the second minor update that came out yesterday....yea it's screwy. Ive been able to go on just about any server and 1 shot people with MP5.

After the initial update mine was fine, then a day later when they released a small update my css was completely unplayable..

after searching online for fixes i found the "CEVO cfg file"(from 2007) which basically fine tunes everything. CSS is completely playable once again and thx to the file im now getting 2x my fps. Sometimes when i join a game there will be lag for the first couple minutes then it settles down.

hope this helps

I can help you out you just have to tell me what OS ur using. I hope its win 7 or vista because it sounds like it... You know what whatever ill tell you anyway. This goes with anyone that is having problems with the update. I completely fixed it using this.

1) Go to start -> Run then type in regedit

**We will be editing the registry. So back it up and dont blame me if you do some stupid shit and fuck it up.**

2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows NT -> CurrentVersion -> Multimedia

3) Highlight (click) on the folder that says SystemProfile

**To the right of the screen, you should see two registry entries.**

4) Right click on the one that says NetworkThrottlingIndex and press modify

5) Modify it so that its new value is: FFFFFFFF

**This disables the Throttle Index. I have no idea why the fuck it does this but this stupid thing limits the amount of packets you can send in 1 ms.

The default value for this entry should have been "a" (10)

Ill upload a picture in a min with a new post so hold on.

That should definantly fix the problem. There are also two other ways of "fixing it" but this is the best way. If it fails ill tell you the two other ways but i have my monies on this fix.
