My map does have a real skybox, you just can't get to it with the spectator camera because I made it that way.
Hopefully its not "a" because my map has a lot of props. A lot.
THe map is kinda open. However, there are invisible walls to restrict people from flying or teleporting too high. I wan't races to be able to fly around, but i don't want them to go over the main buildins and walls, hence the over exagerated building in some cases
yeah i think i'm going to work on it a little more but i need to do some testing first. Don't want to cause lag by having cluttered entities everywhere.
This map is lacking detail and proper texture scaling, also you should round some corners. Displacements would be a nice touch, I don't like the brick textures either.
hmmm, don't know what you mean about the texture scaling. But i will try and make it more roundish. It is a little square, but its still a beta. I want more testing before i go ahead and make it much more detailed. Optimizing it took forever and it runs smoothly as it is.
